Pricing guide · 2026
How much does a website cost in Uruguay?
The short answer: a landing page starts at a few hundred dollars, a full website at a bit under a thousand and an online store at a couple of thousand. The long answer depends on what your site needs to do. Here's what drives the price, with the rates we work with at BrewTech.

What makes a website cost more or less
Two sites can look alike and cost very differently. What moves the price is the work behind them:
- Number of pages and content: a one-offer landing page is not a site with services, team, case studies and a blog.
- Custom design or template: a template is cheaper up front; a custom design fits your brand and how your customers buy.
- Features: bookings, online payments, stock, customer accounts or links to other systems add development work.
- Languages: an English version matters if you work with tourists or clients abroad.
- Copy and photos: if they're ready, the project moves faster; if they need to be written or shot, that's added to the quote.
What you pay every year
Beyond the build, a website has recurring costs. Know them up front so there are no surprises:
- Domain: your site's address (.com.uy, .uy or .com), renewed every year.
- Hosting: the server your site runs on. Low for a company website; a busy store needs more.
- Maintenance: updates, backups and small changes, either on a monthly plan or as needed.
Template (Wix, Tiendanube) or custom?
Template platforms are good for starting fast on a small budget. You pay every month, the design looks like many other businesses and customisation has limits. Some store platforms also take a fee per sale.
A custom site costs more at first, but it's yours: it loads fast, fits your business exactly and doesn't depend on a subscription. If your site is a key sales tool, it usually pays off in the medium term.
How to ask for a useful quote
The clearer the request, the more accurate the quote. Before asking, have ready:
- What your business does and who it sells to.
- What the site should do: inform, sell, take bookings, capture leads.
- Two or three sites you like, even from other industries.
- When you need it and a budget range.
